If you can’t get enough of spaghetti westerns, APOCALYPSE JOE will fit the bill

Spaghetti Western star Anthony Steffen plays a Shakesperean actor/gunslinger called Joe Clifford who inherits a gold mine from his uncle. But when our hero returns to claim the mine, he finds out that his uncle’s killer controls it instead. Understandably pissed, Joe (who has a cool theme tune that follows him around all day) sets about recovering the mine and shooting the living crap out of anything he wants. Apocalypse Joe is a serious and well crafted spaghetti western; A Spanish-Italian co-production full of action. It has a decent plot, cool shoot-outs and Anthony Steffen does a fine job as the revenge seeking hero. Nothing new, but a good little genre movie.
