She sought refuge from her unquenchable thirst for love…
Oh man, if there’s one film series I never get tired of watching, it’s the Black Emanuelle films with Laura Gemser. In Sister Emanuelle the breathtaking sexaholic tries to find God and becomes a cloistered nun! She ends up in a convent and has sex with everybody. At first “The bride of Christ” tries to get away from her sinful past and dirty sex. Emanuelle learns that sex is, in fact, evil. But when she is put in charge of a naughty teenager (Kirsten Dunst look-alike Monica Zanchi), the girl’s hot body (and a banana!) brings back memories of Emanuelle’s bad habits. And the plot thickens when a horny escaped killer suddenly shows up! Giuseppe Vari’s film is not as dirty as Joe D’Amato’s Emanuelle films, and it’s definitely the most unorthodox entry in the series. But it’s also one of the best. So, grab a couple of cold beers from the fridge and enjoy 90 minutes of Laura and the Lord.
