If you like Italian westerns: A GUN FOR ONE HUNDRED GRAVES review

There are three types of spaghetti westerns; Those involving a gunman looking for revenge (Django), those with political elements (A Bullet For The General) and the comedies (the Trinity movies). A Gun for One Hundred Graves is a good ol’ revenge movie directed by Umberto Lenzi (Cannibal Ferox), and it’s about a soldier called Jim Slade. Cool name. I love revenge movies. It’s a universal theme; Who haven’t been treated badly and fantasized about a little payback? Jim sure has. He comes home from the War and finds out that his parents have been killed by a vicious gang! Understandably upset, he becomes a sheriff and rides off to kill and kill and kill! Cool movie, cool music and Peter Lee Lawrence (1944-1974) is great as the hero.
