I don’t know where to start with this 80’s low budget masterpiece. Let’s see… A bloodthirsty mercenary-group kidnap civilians and use them for target practice. But one morning they make the huge mistake of kidnapping a bodybuilder (played by Ted Prior) with cut off shorts, who has seen too many Rambo films. He then goes about blowing shit up and shooting everybody, while flexing his big, manly muscles. Some would say the lack of budget, acting, story and ability would ruin a film. To those people I say: How dare you! The cheesiness and B grade feel of Deadly Prey
makes it fun. Essentially the film is pure rubbish, but that’s part of its charm. It doesn’t waste time with stupid nonsense like plot and character building. It has tons of macho asskicking. It’s freaking great, and after a bunch of beers, the film is flawless. Cannot recommend it enough.
